  I have been attending SUMC for over 20 years. Over those years I have seen the Church grow in many ways. SUMC has a wonderful Missions Ministry that allows Church members to actively participate in hands-on projects with organizations like Habit for Humanity. My Son and I have participated in a few of these projects that took us to areas outside of our community for week long home building projects. Each one has been a wonderful Father-Son bonding experience for us. SUMC also has an Amigos (Latino) service, Children's and Youth Programs, as well as Seniors and Community Outreach programs. It's motto is "A Church for Life," and it certainly is!

  I have been going to Sterling UMC since I was a baby. This church is truly a place where you can grow in your faith as well as provide outreach to the community. Now that I have my own child its a joy to see her learn about God in a safe place. She also attends the wonderful preschool that is at the church. This is a great place for families to come and worship together.

  My family has been attending services here since 1994. Sterling United Methodist Church is a very active church with a wide variety of programs and missions. There really is something for everyone here from pre-school to youth programs, adult studies and activities, and even senior citizen trips. It really is a church for life. Pastor Steve Vineyard is an excellent minister providing inspiring services and leadership to the congregation.

  Sterling United Methodist Church (SUMC) is a wonderful place to attend for worship! The sanctuary has recently been remodeled and the audio visual along with the musical talents of the choir with hand bells is fabulous too. This church family is also very welcoming with their greeters and ushers each Sunday to every attendee. A very promising aspect I admire in the church is the mission focus. There is a myriad of options that SUMC will give back to the community both locally and globally. Some examples are Grace Ministries (each month), Potato Drops (2), Coat Drive, Shepherd's Run (on Christmas Day) and Senior Citizen banquets. There are also mission trips that folks can participate in each year that are both domestic and international. This is truly an amazing church that believes in service to their community!

  The church is so welcoming. Our son was baptized here and they did a great job and it felt very special.
